The Harrow Cine & Video Society has a varied Programme of interesting activities throughout the year from September through to May. Competitions are held regularly to enable members to judge their progress in film making against other members of the Society. Competitions are also held with other Clubs in the North Thames area. See the Programme page for details.

There are also talks, demonstrations and discussions on a variety of aspects of our film making hobby.

EQUIPMENT & FILMS FOR SALE

The Society has a large quantity of films and cine related equipment (std 8/S8/16mm) donated to help with club funds. All items are at bargain prices. All items have been checked and appear in good working order, with no apparent defects unless otherwise noted, but no guarantees of any sort can be given. Items can be inspected by prior arrangement in the Stanmore, Middlesex area. No film has been shot with any of the cameras. For details of items for sale see the "For Sale" page.
Especially heavy or fragile items can be delivered by car within a 15 mile radius of Harrow (Central Congestion Zone Excluded) for a payment of £8 provided the value of the sale exceeds £25 and is prepaid before delivery.

This Society has had so many cine cameras donated that it now causes a storage problem. All are either Standard 8mm or Super 8mm models, and whilst the large majority are still serviceable, it is doubtful if many of them will ever be used for filming ! So . . .
