Annual competition between Harrow Film Makers and Potters Bar Film Makers. Each Club presents a programme of films up to a maximum 40 minutes. The winner is the Club which,, in the Judge's opinion, puts on the more entertaining programme. View the history of the Competition |

Geoff Foord receives the plate from Potters Bar Chairman
The 2017-18 Competition was held at PBF. Harrow won back the 'Pinner Plate' from Potters Bar Film Makers. Dr Tania Mathias, the judge for the competition, awarded the Plate to Harrow's Competition Secretary Jeff Jessop in a close run competition. She also complemented Jeff for his natural acting ability in his film 'A Time to Plant'

The 2016-17 competition was hosted by HFM. The judge was John Luton. He awarded the 'Plate' to Potters Bar FM's. The programme can be viewed below:

The 2015 competition was won by PBFM as judged by Eric Jukes of Enfield Video Makers. Tommy Kovacs hands over the Pinner Plate to John Parkes of PBFM. Judge Eric Jukes looks on.
The 2014 Pinner Plate competition was won by Harrow Film Makers. The external Judge, Brenda Granshaw, FACI, said that Harrow had provided the most entertaining programme of the evening. The Pinner Plate was awarded to Ken Mills by Ron Jones, the President of Potters Bar Film Makers. You can listen to Brenda's critique of each groups films here and her final conclusions.
